Banquet... sorry, 40th ANNIVERSARY BANQUET!

After sweating a lot last weekend, our committee is working hard to throw the most anticipated party of the year, the Annual DMSL banquet, this occasion, celebrating 40 years of the League.

We have lots of new players that never have been sharing this amazing evening and others that did not have the chance because previous engagements.

We are telling everybody more than three months in advance to book the 5th of October to be part of this very special gathering

You might stay in the hotel too, win a door prize or be awarded with a trophy. Remember that guests are welcome.

Please visit the Banquet section to get informed and do not miss this great oportunity

Intense weekend, 20 and 21 July

Hello Everybody, over the weekend of July 20 & 21, the hottest and most humid weekend of the year to date, the Dollard Mixed Softball League played 9 games over the weekend. 5 make up games because of rain out on Saturday and 4 regular scheduled games on Sunday.
Many thanks to all the volunteer scorekeepers, umpires, and all 8 teams and spares. Special thanks to Norm and Scott for arranging the umpires and Candy for arranging the scorekeepers.  Also Graeme and Aston for putting up the tarps over the dug outs, and Darragh for setting up the pop up tent.
We would also like to thank The DDO Recreation Department (Anne Tremblay, Anca Dumitrescu and Eric Monette and the Park attendants at PVDS & Spring Garden) for making our weekend of softball possible.
Most teams played 2 games over the weekend and the Falcons and Phoenix played 3 games. Also we had numerous players spare for other teams over the weekend.
Thanks everybody for all your hard work I couldn’t have put this weekend together without your help.
Chad Rabkin
DMSL President

And as usual, take a look of some of the amazing plays we had

Maybe Arthur is too young to know it,
but he looks like some of The Warriors or Mad Max 2 characters.
He scared my triplets, the squirrels, a seagull and a couple of players,
but we like that look!
