Closing 2017

Most of us had a great time during the Annual DMSL Banquet. This year came with some positive changes to our League, and we are sure that we will continue improving with everyone's cooperation.

One of the goals of the Banquet, is to give recognition to all the people that make this League possible. Volunteer driven, is the result of passion and dedication for this big family.

Please see the remarkable players during our regular season, best players during the play offs, our volunteers, umpires and score keepers, the Banquet Committee and last, but not least, the executives of DMSL.

Now comes the winter and we will look forward to come back full of energy and ready to enjoy another season with our friends.

Most of us could not make it to the finals, the next chance to see our teammates and friends is the most anticipated event of the year: the DMSL Banquet 2017.

Remember we will have buffet, DJ, picture show, awards and door prizes.

The Sheraton offers a special rate for DMSL players and their guest only, if you decide to stay the night and make the banquet a more special celebration. To profit on this discount, you should register before September 13th 2017.

Tie-Break, ranking and quarterfinals

The DMSL uses the following ranking criteria for deciding tie-breaks:

a) Record between tied teams.
b) Win-loss record between tied teams.
c)  Plus-minus record of all runs scored between tied teams. 
d)  Plus-minus record of all runs scored during season.
e)  Total runs scored.
f)  Total runs allowed.

Beer and Pizza night for the DMSL

The past 6th June, West Island Sport Excellence hosted a Beer & Pizza night exclusively for DMSL players, offering a 25% off all softball purchases on this night. We had a very good time, hoping next year we're going again!
